265th Pope

We now have a new Papa, Josef Ratzinger, as the 264th successor of St. Peter to whom Christ gave the Keys. Let the Church continue to be guided as it continues its Mission, the Gospel proclaimed and all humanity see Christ their saviour. <><

Pope John Paul II did much to bring down communism as well as improve relationships with other religious circles. He was also a champion of human rights and dignity while reflecting all that Christ taught. It is our earnest prayer that Pope Benedict XVI will continue to respond to the Lord faithfully at the personal, administrative and theological levels. It seems that he will face, more than the previous Pope, issues which society influenced by the western cultural emphasis on personal freedom has demanded the Church in an ever eager way.

Sometimes it hurts to accept reality (ie: truth, facts) but principle matters the most so let us be reminded that steadfastness and faithfulness always win in the end even if now some people view it as unsmart.

the Mission must continue...

We must now move on and pray for the election of the 264th successor of St. Peter to whom Christ gave the Keys. May the Holy Spirit give wisdom to all those associated with the election process. Amen <><

Good Bye

Today, our spiritual icon His Holiness John Paul II has been called back to God. Karol Jósef Wojtyla is no longer subject to the contraints of time and space. His own part of the Mission as well as his personal spiritual journey is complete, and he will receive his reward. Let us all celebrate his life and his achievements. Let us give thanks to the Almighty for bestowing such a gift to humanity. And let us beseech the Divine Providence to continue watching over and guiding humankind. The Church has always influenced individuals to, near or far, directly and indirectly, radiate the love and wisdom of the Creator. Now that the Church is in transition and preparing for the 263th successor to the one whom the Saviour has given the Keys of Heaven to, let the Holy Spirit protect and guide all members of humanity as we continue to carry out our missions.

Our beloved brother in Christ and for the service of humankind, thank you for accepting your calling and faithfully observing your duties. Petition for us as we continue the Mission.

Karol Jósef Wojtyla

Our prayers and thoughts are with Pope John Paul II as we acknowledge the inevitable. As we review his life and written works, we have much to learn from this man of God.

Whistler

Our friends from the Big White trip join again with a few more friends for a trip to Whistler where we snowboarded and hung out at the Village. In the future, James would like to purchase a board and have a design of his liking impressed on it. A prominent feature of this design may be a 4-character chinese phrase.

Extraordinary Soul

Among those who have come before us are certain individuals from whom we can learn a great deal in principles of living. Therésè was aired from Feb. 09 to 13 at Cinemark - Tinseltown in Vancouver. It is our hope that this movie will be released across the country on the 18th, provided that there is sufficient audience turnout.

When the rooster calls, you know that a new day has begun. Though hardships may come, we can never be put down. We will continue to observe our duties for the greater good.
